Established in 1996, OGSFZ has played a pivotal role in the success of several clients across Egypt’s oil production landscape.
From humble beginnings with just two rigs, the company has grown into a powerhouse with 12 operational units and multiple bases strategically located to cover a wide range of oilfields nationwide.

Oil and Gas Services was established in Egypt in 1998. Initially, Oil and Gas Services owned 2 service rigs/Pull units, operating on 1 job with a workforce of 20 employees.In the 18 years we have been operating, we have extended our rigs to 10, operating on various jobs with a workforce of 243 employees.
Oil and Gas Services has operated with Scimitar Pet. over six years, using OGS Rig-01 / Pull Unit – 250hp and OGS Rig-02 / Pull Unit – 250hp. During these years we gained valuable experience and a respected reputation from Scimitar Management and Senior Field Staff as well as Scimitar Operation Field Staff in Issran Field. Recently OGS introduced Rig 2 in Petro Dara which is operated in Dara.
The OGS Rig # 5 operating for Petro Dara and West Bakr since August 1st 2009 – with excellent performance, OGS upgrade / replace Rig 5 with OGS Rig # 10 – 220,000 Klbs. Capacity with all new handling tools, Bop’s, controls and etc…,
In Addition in July 2008 Oil and Gas Services introduced the OGS Rig-06 & OGS Rig-07 500hp Service Pull units/Work Over (IDECO H-30 Hydra Air- Double Drum) which has operated with West Bakr, Wadi El Sahl, Esh El – Mallaha, Simitar, Currently they Operate For EEG in Water well drilling Project West Menia.
In Addition in February 2009 Oil and Gas Services-Free Zone introduced the OGS Rig-08 Service Pull unit / Workover Rig SKY TOP BREWESTER , Double Drum, Powered by CAT 3406, Turbo Diesel engine, 425 HP, telescoping 78ft Mast, 150,000lbs w/ tubing racking board and rod basket, mounted on a 4 axle carrier. This unit is good new, rebuilt Feb. 2009, with zero hrs. On Mast, Draw works, engine, transmission, etc… the Rig 08 is Joining Water well drilling Project West Menia.
In 2015/2016 purchased – OGS Rig # 10, this built with a very high API standard to suit West Bakr and Pertrodara operations need. Pulling Unit & Work over OGS Rig # 10 is specially built to perform all required operation presented within the scope of work with high standard / quality and safety.
In 2018/ 2019 – Till now Oil and Gas Services-Free Zone introduced the OGS Rig-09, 1000 Hp, Drilling Rig .operating for Scimitar since August 1st 2018 – with excellent performance, During these Period we gained valuable experience and a respected reputation from Scimitar Management and Senior Field Staff as well as Scimitar Operation Field Staff in Issran Field.
